Jeff Pulver Launches PrimeTimeRewindTV Alpha - Mashable
Jeff Pulver, Internet pioneer and founder of Network2 TV has put out a new web destination site dedicated to online TV viewership, this time for mainstream embedded TV programming that can be found publicly on the web. Chris Brogan alerted me this afternoon to the blog post Pulver put on his blog announcing the service’s alpha release.
In its core, its just another aggregator site that’s taking the embed codes from sites like Hulu and the various network and cable networks that provide online versions of their programming, and put them on a site. PrimeTimeRewindTV, though, has one of the more innovative layouts and ways to explore the content that I’ve seen yet.
Typically, when you come to one of these site, it’s either a searchable or categorical layout of some kind - with PrimeTimeRewind, it’s a giant interactive cube with the thumbnails for the various programs tiled on each of the sides.
