Actors bow online directory - The Hollywood Reporter

The Screen Actors Guild has launched a new interactive online member directory called iActor, which gives casting directors, producers and production entities the ability to easily search for actors and verify union eligibility.

The two-year project, supported by SAG president Alan Rosenberg, executive director Doug Allen and members of the iActor Online Casting Task Force, is the first of its kind in providing 24-hour access to SAG’s Station 12 cast clearance.

“iActor provides a real production benefit for the industry, it offers casting directors and producers of signatory productions the ability to source and clear actors for work,” said Steve Graham, SAG director of online casting. “The digital revolution is upon us and we’re here to provide the tools for our members and the industry.”

The directory is a free service for SAG members and industry professionals. Casting directors, for example, can review headshots, resumes and search regional talent pools for member actors.
