Apropos of the last post of the year on this blog (I’ll return Jan 3), here are some more items about the year in tech and what to look for in 2008:

— Steve Rubel blogs about three big 07 trends on his site MicroPersuasion, analyzing a lot of info gleaned from Google Trends… here.

—Online Media: The Year In Review is “Seeking Alpha”’s year-end review, here, essentially about online advertising, and not surprisingly it’s all about Google, even in the year when Facebook got lots of attention:

We’re not taking anything away from company du jour turned nightmare Facebook/Platform/Beacon etc. We’re just saying Google is in a league of its own.
