While the American Film Institute counted down the top 50 villians of all time (view the list HERE), we should never forget all those villians out there who work so hard to make life so miserable for our heroes day in and day out. A top ten list of the villians who so often go unsung can be found at /Film HERE.

In an interview about playing villains, Sir Anthony Hopkins was asked, “which is better? British knighthood or your Hannibal Lecter topping the American Film Institute’s poll of all time movie villains?” Hopkins replied: “I don’t know. The knighthood is pretty good. I can’t compare. They’re two very different things.”
