John Hughes, 1950-2009
Remember acclaimed film director, producer and writer John Hughes with these podcasts from 1985, part of the Harold Lloyd Master Seminar series at the AFI Conservatory. Hughes, who created beloved comedies like SIXTEEN CANDLES, FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF, NATIONAL LAMPOON’S VACATION and HOME ALONE, tells of his early struggles to bring his work to the screen.
Hughes died on August 6, 2009, in New York City from a heart attack.
