The Plastic Podcast: Part Two

6 November 2010 1,143 views One Comment

plasticpodcast Chicago critics Robert Davis (Paste magazine) and J. Robert Parks (TimeOut Chicago, The Hyde Park Herald) are the hosts of the acclaimed Plastic Podcast, a free program that offers in-depth discussions of movies, reports from festivals and interviews with filmmakers. It combines casual but incisive observations with enthusiastic cinephilia and an amiable sense of humor.

AFI FEST NOW is proud to present a special program they have recorded for us in two parts. Part Two focuses on Abbas Kiarostami’s CERTIFIED COPY, which is screening at 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 7 at the Mann Chinese 6 Theatres.

Plastic Podcasg is the only podcast I listen to. I can count on being amused and informed. It’s very much like going to the cafe or the bar after the film to talk about a shared cinematic experience with a friend. Never exclusive, always insightful, and handsomely mannered in their disparity of opinion. Ever a thorough delight to listen to. Thanks for including their commentary to your website this year.
