Thank You! It has been a whirlwind nine days of exciting, challenging, even life-transforming world cinema. We wish to thank our many venues, sponsors and patrons; our tireless volunteers and staff; and—most of all—you, for the enthusiasm, courtesy and patience you’ve shown during the Festival. This year’s program implemented many new ideas (not the least of which was free ticketing!), and it could not have been the resounding success it was without everyone’s cooperation.
AFI FEST was a gift to Los Angeles moviegoers, and its sounds and images will linger in our minds throughout the coming year.
