AFI FEST iPhone app now available

27 October 2009 574 views No Comment

iphone-app-screen Apple iPhone owners now have their very own free AFI FEST app.

Created by Dan Zeitman at FilmFest, the application lets users carry the entire Festival program in their pocket or purse and view information on films by day, category or title. The app is integrated with the Daily News, so Festival-goers can keep up with the films, filmmakers and events at the Fest.

Users can follow the Festival’s Twitter feed — and the feeds from many of the films. They’ll also find trailers and reviews, analysis from AFI FEST programmers, cast and crew lists, ticketing and venue information, and alerts on any last minute screenings.

Click here to get the app from iTunes. It’s free.
