YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

IT IS A PERFECT COMBINATION OF A COMEDY AND CLASSIC HORROR. IT TRULY PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE CLASSICS LIKE DRACULA. IT ALSO HAS MEMORABLE LINES LIKE “WHAT HUMP?” AND “PUTIN’ ON THE RITZ”…I NEVER MET ANYONE WHO HAS EVER SAID “YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, I HATE THAT MOVIE”. IT IS TIMELESS AND MADE FOR ALL AGES.

The funniest movie ever made. Gene Wilder starred in the top three comedies of film history. “Do not put the candle back!”

You probably won’t find 4more disparate choices, but each one holds a place in my heart. Philadelphia Story is witty, charming, and above all, a funny story- Katharine Hepburn at her best. Young Frank-What can I say? Probably the most quotable comedy every. Mockingbird was my favorite book as a teen, and Atticus is the father we all dreamed of. LOTR continues to amaze me as a piece of epic filmmaking, with the emotions of the story never overwhelmed by special effects.

Not to have a Mel Brooks movie in the top 100?! This is a classic of the genre: satire, black and white, anarchy. The modern day Marx Brothers. Where is it??

Young Frankenstein is the best work of Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder with great comedic acting by Madeline Kahn, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman and an all star cast, with memorable scenes and lines.

I would replace losers like Spartacus and Unforgiven with Young Frankenstein and Coming Home in the top 100.
