Titainc What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and ………..Superstar
Thu 9 Aug 2007
Titanic: best movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life. it’s a great movie, and as we all know the ship sinks at the end, the whole movie is very romantic because as you watch every little innocent scene between jack (leo dicaprio) and rose (kate winslet), you know time is ticking. i think it’s sad and romantic how jack tells rose to never let go of the promise to live her life at the very end and OMG i loooooove every little thing about this storyline. and leo dicaprio is very hot. and kate winslet is stunning as usual.
King Kong (2005): it has EVERYTHING!! suspense, romance, action, adventure, humor, etc. the special effects=woaaaahhh. i dont care how long the movie is, it’s just fabulous. naomi watts, adrien brody, and jack black were GREAT pretending they saw kong or a dinosaur, etc, when there was nothing actually there as they were filming. and yes, i did cry at the end.every time i watch it, i get teary eyed. i think naomi watts should have been nominated for an oscar for playing ann darrow. peter jackson made a GREAT remake.
Little Miss Sunshine: probably one of the best movies in 2006. it’s hilarious. i love how a little indie movie made it as a nominee for best picture at the oscars!!! :] its a spectacular movie of how a little girl from a dysfunctional family shows everyone what it really means to win. and you gotta love abigail breslin dancing to superfreak!!! lms has a great choice of actors and a wonderful screenplay!!!!!!!!! I love this movie! soo different, what other movie have you seen with a dysfunctional family pushing a yellow bus? GOTTA LOVE IT!!
What’s Eating Gilbert Grape: Leo DiCaprio blew me out of the water. He was that good as playing mentally challenged Arnie. Johnny Depp was great too. He was going through a really tough time and made me believe what Gilbert was going through. I just love this movie cuz its so different and deep. You really feel like you’re a part of the family.
Million Dollar Baby: It’s real, it’s sad, it’s perfect.
Forrest Gump: i love watching forrest in different parts of history, no plot but has a point. it has you laughing and crying.

My favorite movie of all time is Titanic..it’s not only your classic Romeo and Juliet story, but it shows the emotions of humans during a sad time in history. It’s just sooo good and I cry every single time I watch it…which is over like, a hundred. Plus, Leo DiCaprio is SO hot in this and Kate Winslet is absolutely stunning. :] I also like King Kong (2005) because the special effects are fabulous and it’s just so fun to watch. Other favorites of mine are: Little Miss Sunshine, Million Dollar Baby, and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.

Well I have to agree with the 2 listed below me the Sting and Titanic are 1 and 1A for me but to add to that The Best Years of Our Lives is 1B.
All 3 great movies for different reasons. I managed a theatre that had Titanic from December from April and I never tired of it

TITANIC is my favourite movie. I think it’s the most romantic and human film which have ever been made. I have watched it over 10 times but every time I cry. I think it’s one great movie and it could change people’s point of view forever.

The LOTR has become my favorite movie of all time. I had never even read the books until just before the movies were due to come out and my hubby said he would not take me to see them until I had read the whole set and of course I had to read the HOBBIT first. Which I did, and I have read them over & over & over and of course I have watched the movies again & again & again.
They are extremely well done and my grandchildren enjoy them as well. Which is a wonderful thing to have in common with my children’s children. I only hope that when the HOBBIT comes out is as well done as the first three.

My favorite movie is Titanic. Everything about it is just so beautiful. The storyline is fantastic, the music/soundtrack is awesome, and nobody could have done a better job than Kate Winslet, Leonardo di Caprio, and Billy Zane. The wardrobe, by the way, was excellent too! =)

BRILLIANT SCRIPT AND EFFECTS. NICELY SHOWN THE HUMAN BEHAVIOR.

I love this movie, because, wll, I don’t really know why. First of all, I think Leonardo DiCaprio should have got nominated for an Oscar in his role of Jack Dawson, because, well, he waws really good in this movie. And I love this movie because it has the highest box office gross of all time, 600,000,000-and somethin’ dollars. Not to mention, I can watch this movie 500,000,000 times in a row, not that I have, yet.
Thu 21 Jun 2007
I’ve counted and I’ve only seen 8 movies on the top 100. I think thats kinda sad. Of the ones I’ve seen my favorite has to be Titanic. I can’t get enough of the adventure, the special effects, and of course the love story. I saw it the first time a couple of months ago. Now, I have to admitt, I’m a little obsessed. But, who can blame me!
Thu 21 Jun 2007
Hands down….. My favorite movie! I can’t remember another film that has transformed my life. Everything about this movie is great, the actors, special effects, etc.. It really makes you feel like you were there and also makes you stop and think about what’s important.

This movie has to be one of the greatest movies of all time. It depicted the story of the Titanic very well. The acting was impeccable, the sets and graphics were superb, the script was amazing. Titanic is just a work of pure genius. It deserved every award it got and more. The Titanic is a movie that will never be forgotten.

rocky and titanic, but no gladiator? hard to fathom.
gladiator, a love story about honor…timely now, timely always.
terrific story/screenplay, great acting from entire cast, wonderful cinematography and direction and (here’s the test)…30 yrs fm now it will hold up magnificently.
no offense to titanic fans, but it was old 32 minutes later.
cheers.
* too much to ask for Princess Bride to make the list, huh?
Prince Humperdinck: [sincerely] Tyrone, you know how much I love watching you work, but I’ve got my country’s 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder and Guilder to frame for it; I’m swamped.
Count Rugen: Get some rest. If you haven’t got your health, then you haven’t got anything.

TITANIC is my all time favorite movie. Words can’t really explain how much passion I have for this film. This movie is beautifully filmed; every scene is better than the next, and it has a star studded cast. I think the real reason I love this movie is because it stars Leonardo DiCaprio. He is my role model and my biggest inspiration. I have seen almost all of his movies and I love them all but TITANIC is my all time favorite. If Leonardo DiCaprio comes upon this page I hope he knows how much of an imapct he and his movies have made on my life.
A True TITANIC fan

I have seen so many movies throughout my life, but only a few movies have really really affected me. Those movies are the best to me, the movies that really capture your soul, and you fall in love with the movie and characters. And the movies that do that to me are Titanic and Moulin Rouge! When I first saw Titanic, I immediately named it a favorite of mine. The whole movie was powerful. The love, lies, tragedy, everything. And that Leonardo DiCaprio, man what a babe! I love him so much now! And Moulin Rouge is another movie that touched my soul! It too is a powerful movie about love, lies, and tragedy! I guess I’m a sucker for forbidden love. I think that’s the best kind of love, and that’s the love in Titanic and Moulin Rouge! And Ewan McGregor, another babe!! He and Leo are my true loves! And the music! Oh the music! The Titanic music is just so emotional!! I cry everytime! And Moulin Rouge’s music is just so wonderful! I listen to the soundtrack over and over! Ewan has an amazing voice!! So, Titanic and Moulin Rouge! are of now, my two favorite movies that I know I will love until the end of time!

This movie just captivates me 10 years later! To me it holds the place of being my favorite because I think it truly broke new ground. It just fascinates me, and unlike Casablanca and Gone with the Wind I was here to experience all the fuss…the magic. It impresses me in every aspect between special affects for the 90’s to the actual footage, to Kate and Leo’s amazing chemistry to the actual story and history. I think it affected everyone in the world. To me it is the most successful Movie of all time, and should be remembered for that. People still talk about it like it came out this year. Its incredible. The ending was beyond perfect, the most beautiful ending ever.

The best movie I have ever seen in my 14 years of living is definitely “Titanic”. Not only is this movie visually stunning, it has enough impact to make even the burliest man cry. It shed a whole new light on the 1912 sinking of the ‘unsinkable’ ship. People actually began to care about the ship, or have some interest in it a least. I also liked how James Cameron intertwined real history with the fictional story of Jack and Rose.
In short, “Titanic” is a wonderful and epic movie, perhaps the best of its time.
Mon 18 Jun 2007
It’s hard to say what is the best movie ever is or to even recount my favorite.
But I must say Titanic is always on my top 10. A great mixture of both spectacle and acting, it’s always a joy to watch.
Wed 13 Jun 2007
Honestly, this movie changed my life. Once I watched this movie, I became fascinated with history. The movie is an intimite story set against an epic scale. The movie is haunting. Once the movie ends and the screen goes back, I could hear people around me say…”wow”
Wed 13 Jun 2007
its a perfect mix of romance, action, adventure, drama, etc.
i love it
Tue 5 Jun 2007
What hasn’t already been said about Titanic? It really is one of the greatest achievements in the history of film. What a pleasure it is to get to see both Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, two of the greatest actors of this generation, steal the show from the sinking of the great ship. This is one that everyone will still be talking about 100 years from now.
This will be the highest ranking film from the last ten years when AFI unveils its list on June 20. It’s a guranteed top 25 film, but I look for it to crack the top ten. An epic romantic for the ages.
Mon 4 Jun 2007
What more can I say? This movie lives up to its title, its grand. The reason why I love this film so much is because of the amazing special/visual effects, the haunting score, the beautiful sets, the great actors, the cinematography, the way it appealed to every person thats seen the movie, the sinking sequence, its huge popularity…EVERYTHING! The is one of few movies in which someone needs to experience it on the big screen so that they can feel its effect..seeing on a small television screen won’t do that for you.

Have spent a good portion of my life watching this movie and still love it!

Everybody thinks The Godfather, Star Wars, Casablanca, Citizen Kane. Not enough people have admitted how moved they were during Titanic. Many people were. It wasn’t just a bunch of 13 year old girls. James Cameron said it himself. Titanic moved people of every different age group, from 8 years old to 80. Guys just refused to admit it. The ladies just went along with the crowd.
Before Titanic, I don’t think we would’ve had The Matrix or Lord of The Rings. I’d be willing to bet we would’ve never even had respect for the prequel that George Lucas would turn into a fad.
It won 11 out of 14 Oscars. It received 1.8 billion dollars worldwide. It was a phenomenon then and I truly believe it would be one now.
Titanic for greatest movie ever made, if not at least the 7th greatest.
Tue 29 May 2007
Greatest movie of all time? One word: Titanic. What’s not to love? Boy meets girl, girl likes boy; now, sure, it’s not your everyday love story….but it’s much more than that. This movie will stand the test of time and I hope to show my children this epic when they’re older and I hope they show thier children and so on and so forth. If this movie does not make it to the top I will be shocked. Don’t hide Titanic in the shadows anymore. Open the door and let it out!

I thought the way the film was put together was so interesting, the way they took a event in history and but a fictional love story into it was wonderful, also the awards it one and records that it broke was amazing.
