I fail to understand how the AFI overlooked this GEM on every Top 100 list published. Not only was it, in all probability, the greatest western ever done, ” High Noon ” notwithstanding, it also provided one of Hollywood’s classic quotes:” WE DEAL IN LEAD,FRIEND ” (the late Steve McQueen ). As an aside. That particular quote became the unofficial motto of my old Marine Corp unit; 2/4.
