THE LORD OF THE RINGS:RETURN OF THE KING

I was glad to hear that The Lord Of the Rings: The Fellow SHip of the Rings was among those on the new list, however, i think that the Return of the King should also be on the list, as it is easily the best of the trilogy and it displayed incredible directing, amazing visual imagery, and an excellent script.

This movie have absolutely everything that a movie could ever have. It has great action, war scenes, amazing cinematography, good acting, love scenes, scary scenes, and comic relief. Its practically every genre you can think of, packed into a feature length film. This is probably the greatest book to movie trasition in Hollywoods history. It was a good four hours long, but it was completely worth it. the movie kept me entertained from begining to end, and it was,in my honest opinion, the greatest directorial achievement in American history. Kudos to Peter Jackson for making the greatest movie in the history of mankind.

if we agree lord of the rings 1 is a wonderful film we must agree this about other two film of trilogy because journey continues and many say that last installment is greatest.best fantasy film with a marvellous story

IT’S GOOD AGAINST EVIL. LOTS OF ACTION. GREAT STORY LINE.

Everything came together in the final movie of the greatest film trilogy. It did amazing justice to J.R.R. Tolkein’s original book (as did the other two movies). The Directing, Acting, Music, and Special effects were all remarkable. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I agree with the Academy (No offense to Ben Hur or Titanic), this movie rocks!

It captures human emotion at its best.

There isn’t enough words to describe this masterpiece. Peter Jackon really outdone himself in directing this great God-of-Movies, but of course he didn’t do it alone, a lot of the credits goes to the actors, producers, composer, and other cast and crew members.

I’ve seen the whole trilogy 38 times (FOTR:13, TTT:13, ROTK:12) till know and I still get the itch to see it every now and then. I can never get enough of it, no way. I enjoy each passing second while watching it, I lose all contact with the surroundings, I blend with it like I’m one of Middle-Earth’s elements.

It’s the best thing that happened to me in my whole life, it changed my whole perspective of every thing around me it made me become a Being. The best moment in my life I experienced it while I was watching this Masterpiece (And I don’t think that it will ever be topped) that is when the Army of Rohan arrives to the battle field, I can never describe how i feel every time I see this scene.

The drama, the action, the humour, the struggle, the friendship, the sacrifices, the victory moments, the sad moments, the music.. the wonderful music that speaks to the soul.

This is not a movie, I would never call it that, It’s a God disguised in a movie figure to let us see it’s wonder, it’s greatness.

I’m not saying it’s THE GOD, God forbids, don’t get me wrong. I’m only saying it’s the God of Movies.

As I said there isn’t enough words to describe this masterpice so i guess I’ll have to stop here knowing I’ll never full fill it’s greatness with only words.

“LOTR to the Grave” -Rida Sabassi

The Return Of The King is a masterpiece, it is perfect from beginning to end. The acting, directing, writing, visual effects. This is why it won more Oscar’s then any other movie(Titanic, Ben Hur are the only other movies to earn 11 Oscar’s). It is the second highest grossing movie of all time(Titanic is #1) it earned over 1 billion dollars for a reason, everyone loved it. The movie tells a story you almost believe to be true. It is such an inspiring film it takes you breath away. This movie should have never been off the top 100 movies list, that is a crime that should be remedied. It is the perfect ending of a trilogy you could ever have.

Easily and without a moment of thought, I can say that my favorite film is THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING. This is truly the only film where I can describe every single aspect as ‘perfect’. Peter Jackson’s exponentially awe-inspiring direction, Howard Shore’s iconic and brilliant score, the performances of Sean Astin, Miranda Otto and Ian McKellen cap one of the greatest ensembles in the history of film, the costumes, the cinematography, the production design, the editing, the visual effects and sound, the screenplay, the Battle of the Pelennor Fields is the greatest action sequence in the history of film, and especially for me Annie Lennox’s absolutely beautiful “Into the West”, which I hold as THE greatest film song; all perfect. Nothing I have ever encountered and nothing I ever will will conquer this film’s superiority and grace under fire. I saw it 5 times in theatres, and at the age of 10 and at 3 hrs and 20 mins, that in itself is proof of it’s triumph within my mind.

The best film ever made, nothing greater. A film that will live on through the history of time, and for once, a book that never again needs a film adaptation, because Peter Jackson made it perfect. Nothing about this film is bad, and everything about this film makes me love the idea of film, no matter the time, no matter the film crisis, I will always remember that purity and perfectibility is possible.

Enough Said

Pretty much the perfect movie. great action story telling and acting. The movie made me feel for every charector and it even had some funny parts.

Vissually the most stunning movie ever made. This movie comes closer to perfection than any other movie to date.

The greatest movie to the greatest trilogy.

Okay, now honestly I don’t see how anyone can pick one movie and say it is better than all the rest. I can see someone saying that one is better than another, though. But, if I have to pick I would say that The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring had an astounding emotional effect on me. Not only was it well written and well acted, but everything about it was for lack of a better word…perfection. Howard Shore’s score was beautiful and the cinematography was excellent. It may be the first movie to display good and evil in the sense that it did. I affected me dramatically. I do not think it is the greatest movie ever made. The only way to decide that is to have a global vote which is impossible. But if I had to pick one this is what I would like to see at number one. That or Lawrence of Arabia. But whatever…

COMPLETELY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This story is often erroneously called a ‘trilogy,’ when it is in fact a single story.

You cannot just think of Lord of the Rings as the greatest battle-sequences movies ever (though it’s true), as many people do. It’s hard to explain in words. It’s more: the touching quotes, the background story of each character, the unbelievable struggle of changing from a typical hobbit to the inner, secret hero we all have. Put yourselves in any character’s shoes. You’ll understand then. Add to that the unsurpassable musical score by Howard Shore.

LORD OF THE RINGS

A rich tale of good vs. evil tells the story of one hobbit’s journey to destroy the Ring of Power.

This movie, more than any other I have seen, challenges the heart and the mind simultaneously. The characters plights’ and story line involve the viewer emotionally, while conveying a rich allegory of good vs. evil with profound symbolism. The cinematography is beautiful with New Zealand’s landscapes accentuating the vision of Peter Jackson. Howard Shore’s score provides one of the most moving, and distinct soundtracks in recent memory. The ensemble acting is top notch, with the talents of Sir Ian McKellen, Bernard Hill, Andy Serkis, and Sean Astin shining bright in their roles. The epic action sequences are stunning in their power and beauty, the dialogue is engaging, the special effects are simply amazing, and groundbreaking for the time. Simply put, this movie has everything to offer to any fan of film. It touches the heart, stimulates the mind, pleases the eye, and leaves one wanting to be a better person becauses of this movie. This is as good as it gets!!!
