Great story. Terrific cast, and all played their roles perfectly. Never boring no matter how many times I see it. Michael Clark Duncan just tugs at my heart-strings. Totally inderrated by the critics and the Academy. I remember reading this book and thinking “This would make a great movie!” I was not disappointed.

The acting, the story, the direction. Everything makes this movie great. Was definelty robbed from winning Best Picture.

The Green Mile is a perfect film. It is a comedy, drama, epic, prison story with depth, with great characters & a lot of heart. It has the best ensemble cast in the history of film and the writing is flawless. Even Stephen King himself said it was by far the best screenplay that he ever read. It deserved the oscar for best pic and it will stand the test of time.

Michael Clark Duncan, Tom Hanks, and the electric chair scene, enough said.
No words can explain, just watch and you’ll be amazed.
