It makes me laugh and laugh and laugh again! I love the prissy pout of Tony Curtis’ lips as he assumes Josephine’s persona; I adore Jack Lemmon’s full acceptance of being female - so much so that he accepts Osgood’s proposal of marriage; Marilyn is magnificently perfect for the part of Sugar; the costumes are fantastic; the music is wonderful; and the plot is so out there that it takes me away with it! I love introducing it to people who have never seen it (I usually get thanked) and never tire of watching it over and over because it never fails to lift my spirits.
