Perhaps one of the driest comedies ever made, Rushmore not only captures the quiet disturbing laughter prefaced by Harold & Maude, but it also captures the most engaging performances of dramatic subtlety ever displayed by two highly underrated actors: Bill Murray & Olivia Williams.
Rushmore combined a spirit to storytelling with sincere intelligence and jovial aspiration.
