Johnny Depp

Titanic: best movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life. it’s a great movie, and as we all know the ship sinks at the end, the whole movie is very romantic because as you watch every little innocent scene between jack (leo dicaprio) and rose (kate winslet), you know time is ticking. i think it’s sad and romantic how jack tells rose to never let go of the promise to live her life at the very end and OMG i loooooove every little thing about this storyline. and leo dicaprio is very hot. and kate winslet is stunning as usual.
King Kong (2005): it has EVERYTHING!! suspense, romance, action, adventure, humor, etc. the special effects=woaaaahhh. i dont care how long the movie is, it’s just fabulous. naomi watts, adrien brody, and jack black were GREAT pretending they saw kong or a dinosaur, etc, when there was nothing actually there as they were filming. and yes, i did cry at the end.every time i watch it, i get teary eyed. i think naomi watts should have been nominated for an oscar for playing ann darrow. peter jackson made a GREAT remake.
Little Miss Sunshine: probably one of the best movies in 2006. it’s hilarious. i love how a little indie movie made it as a nominee for best picture at the oscars!!! :] its a spectacular movie of how a little girl from a dysfunctional family shows everyone what it really means to win. and you gotta love abigail breslin dancing to superfreak!!! lms has a great choice of actors and a wonderful screenplay!!!!!!!!! I love this movie! soo different, what other movie have you seen with a dysfunctional family pushing a yellow bus? GOTTA LOVE IT!!
What’s Eating Gilbert Grape: Leo DiCaprio blew me out of the water. He was that good as playing mentally challenged Arnie. Johnny Depp was great too. He was going through a really tough time and made me believe what Gilbert was going through. I just love this movie cuz its so different and deep. You really feel like you’re a part of the family.
Million Dollar Baby: It’s real, it’s sad, it’s perfect.
Forrest Gump: i love watching forrest in different parts of history, no plot but has a point. it has you laughing and crying.

When you look up the word cool in the Webster dictionary you will see the name,
Johnny Depp.
I was first introduced to Mr. Depp back in 1984 while seeing A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I was only 17 and it was love at 1st sight. Since his days from 21 Jump Street he has become a true American actor. He takes risks, and plays almost any roll, and is a phenomenal actor and blows Tom Cruise away!
I will see any movie with Johnny Depp, not just for his looks, but yes his acting!
I commend him, and I am very proud that he is part of my generation of stars!

What I love most about these movies is that they brought backk to life a genre of film that had been lost but then also reinvented it. Johnny Depp created in Jack Sparrow one of those legendary characters that crosses boundaries, a character we all will remember for years to come. These movies also have one more very important element..FUN, they brought back fun and adventure to the industry.

These movies unique, exciting, and offer a variety of entertainment: comedy, action and romance.

The first pirate blew me away. Johnny Depp was terrific as Captain Jack. Keira Knightly was also great as Elizabeth. Geoffery Rush also brought something unique and great to Barbossa that made him more than a typical villain. In the second movie I thought they made the action better and that Bill Nighty was great as Davy Jones. However, it failed to rank with the first. Yet, “At World’s End” redefined everything Pirates. I was wowed I was amazed it made me think and it was the best of the trilogy. The Lion King was my first movie ever. To this day I think that no animated movie, with the exception of the Incredibles, comes close to the greatness of the Lion King in all areas of the movie. I recently saw the Breakfast Club. It was great. I loved how it portrayed teens and stereotypes and it was one of those thought changing movies you can never forget. Little Miss Sunshine rocks. The writing, direction, and acting were great. I love the lack of chilche and how funny it is. I have watched it countless times and each time it gains new depth. And finally, the choice people are probably wondering, WTF. This is the only movie to make me cry. In my opinion, he the best writing. Everything shocked me because it was a movie I initially didn’t want to see and once I saw it, it moved me like no other film.

Where, oh where has all of Hollywoods creativity vanished to? Well, at least there’s Tim Burton and his fantastic ability to create quirky-but-loveable characters, not to mention beautiful imagery. With Edward Scissorhands, he takes the story of Beauty and the Beast and puts it in modern day Burbank. In a role that’s 90% physical/facial and only 10% verbal, Johnny Depp portrays Edward, a young boy with, well, scissor hands. Winona Ryder plays the young love interest, whose love/understanding of Edward doesn’t waiver, even when it turns out his disability can do harm as well as good.
