BLADE RUNNER

If you are a true SCI-FI fan, than this is for you. This is the BEST Sci-fi moving ever made. Ridley Scott is a master of the genre, and when it comes to the cast… well he could not have done better. The careers of all have been a testiment to that.

Harrison Ford was my very first adult crush. He’s still as hot today as he was in this movie.

It is a mystical sci-fi that captivates the imagination with human-like
replicant thingies that long to live like real humans and a young, Harrison Ford setting the pace for a future “STAR WARS” appearance. The story behind the story is the love story between the hero and the replicant.
The music fits perfectly. Sometimes I listen to the opening score without watching the film. Right now, this is my favorite.

BLADE RUNNER is a well written and acted movie based on two novellas by author Phillip K. Dick which are good tales but this screenplay elevates the tales to great not just good. The set designs are innovative, add to the story and believability that this is a furturistic world where androids do exist and threaten humans. Ruger Hauer portrays a haunted villian chillingly and Harrison Ford as the relunctant hero sympathetically not only contributes to the continuity of the film; but also allows the audience to walk into the film and be a part of it not just obwerving the scenes.
That is why this film is my favorite still 25 years later.

Original Sript, and excelent direted by R.Scott and visually extraordinary!!

I dont now why, but I can see him 12 times in every year.

Blade Runner is an amazing metaphor about the human being. Is a film that everybody should watch unless one time.

Far and away one of the most stimulating sci-fi movies of all time - that asks some very poignant questions about our direction as a species - far ahead of its time.

“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those … moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die..”

Here we are talking about one of the most influential movies in all the the history. Pictures like, Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, dont exist whit out this Sci-fi epic, you can see his influence all over the world.

Ridley Scot, create a master pice, a cult classic. He use for frist time special efects and tecnology as and estetic and artistic element of the narative. More than 20 years before its realese this movie looks like new, its like Citizen Kane or Lawence of Arabia, the time dont exist.

Harrison Ford and Rutter Hauer deservs and academy nomination for best acting both, the rest of the cast are perfect the performances are fabulous, I cannot imagine any other actor to play the role of some of which they appear in the film.

The ground breacking sound track of the Vangelis, creat the right atmosphere, when you hear the music its feels like in Rene Magritte canvas, its the world that you see whit your eyes, but something it is no tcorrect, and annoying you in a very sutle way.

This its trully scien fiction, no fantasy like Star Wars (I am say this not as an insult, its only editorial comparation). Because this picture its not about a police officer who tray to kill some replicants, it represents the internal fight to try to define the essence of the human condition, using a futurist scene and caracters in parts of robots with actions and human emotions to make patent the point in comment.

You cant understand any Sci-fi movie, whitout this poetic and beautiful movie.

This movie made me see all movies in a different way.

This movie made me see all movies in a different way. It was riveting because of both the story line and special effects.Harrison Ford was fascinating and to think this future presented in this movie could be true some day!

BLADE RUNNER

BLADE RUNNER has a more human side that is missing in most Science fiction films.

I had always been a science fiction fan, however there was never a defining film that I could stand up and say I’m proud of that film as a fan of film narrative. Sure there was STAR WARS and ALIEN, but at the end of the day they were not something I could stand up and say this is a great film over all time. Neither of these films can stand up to classic films that have been on the AFI list before. BLADE RUNNER has a more human side that is missing in most Science fiction films. It embraces what is means to be human, both in life and death.

A movie before its time. Creative, thought provoking and smooth acting.

It lets one think of one’s future, past and present. A what if, and what could be film noir/science fiction movie wrapped into one.

Let’s ponder the meaning of life and who really is a slave. Replicants have a short lifespan yet yearn for a longer existance.

Rutger’s whole part, remember his saying “Time to die”, come on. the boy should have won the Academy Award for his performance. That is the best death scene on film.
