Satire could arguably stand as the most influential form of storytelling, and Bamboozled could arguably stand as the most impactful form of satire. Compared to previous Lee films, where race and prejudice dominate the conflicts. Lee boldly illustrated the extremes of such conflicts by using the power of the media to its utmost grim and greed. Bamboozled shocked us with its blatant disregard for racial sensitivity and its all-too uncanny illustration of entertainment by its cut-throat pursuit of the fringe.
