As a young teen who lived in the times where JFK was assassinated, the Beatles were a breath of fresh air and they simply brought happiness to our lives after the terrible days of November 1963. The movie is a perfect little snapshot of the swinging 60’s in England. It was such a happy movie. I can’t feel bad about anything when I am watching this movie.

A day in the life of The Beatles on the road. It’s funny and has great music. Pop movies at the time were really simple with terrible plots. This film showcases Beatlemania at it’s best and worse. The in-jokes are very funny as well.
As a Beatles fan growing up loving this film, there was nothing better then that once a year that it came on tv. We(my Beatles Freak Friends) even made an audio cassette of the film so we could memorise the dialogue from the first scene with Paul’s Grandfather. I still love watching this film as it is as fresh as it was the day it was released.
