Best Christmas movie ever made. Push aside “It’s a Wonderful Life”, Christmas Story has got you beat. 24 hours of a Christmas Story is one of my favorite things to look forward to every Christmas. A timeless movie that I could watch over a million times and laugh at the same jokes every time I see it.

This is Norman Rockwell Amreica, when the US was innocent and newly affluent. It is an honest look at how we were and reminds me of my own childhood. An annual event: Christmas Eve we all gather and wathc the movie again. We know large pieces of dialogue by heart . . .

A classic. Not the greatest American movie but nevertheless one I still find funny after watching it numerous times. Although set in the late 30’s or early 40’s it has elements that are ageless and issues touch on cultural experiences and humor that are definitively those of American Youth (albeit boys). I believe it has replaced A Wonderful Life as the most most watched holiday movie.
