It is a great all-around movie. The movie takes the audience through the highs and lows of Andy’s life. Its funny but not a comedy. It is also sad, but it isn’t gloomy.

It definitely is one of the most beautiful, sensible and complex movies ever. I practically fell in love with the story and this is one of the movies I never get tired of watching. It’s almost flawless.

Shawshank has everything. I must have watched it 15 times to date, and I became a big Morgan Freeman fan through this film.
