Frank Capra’s age-old classic keeps gettings better every time I watch. Only this film could tell a story that feels this human. James Stewart’s portrayal of George Bailey as the unsung hero of sorts is brilliantly performed, with Donna Reed and the rest of the cast perfectly working together to create the wonderful world we now know as Bedford Falls.
I am inspired every time when I watch this film in the realization that each and every one of us on this earth can make a difference, whether or not we know it.
“Remember no man is a failure who has friends” - Clarence was right. And this idea helps me put life in that kind of perspective. Without question, this is my favorite movie. It truly is a wonderful life.
