This movie is a classic and has the best acting! Nicholson is so believeable in his role as turning from a good father/husband into a crazy man by staying in an abandoned hotel in off season.

After all the scary movies today I still think this one scares me the most because of how they showed his mind imagining things. The great performances and film work of this movie are brilliant.
