This movie it timeless, as all the movies on the list should be. Even though it is set in the Depression Era South, it still appropriate for today, for any part of the country. I’d say it is my favorite film of all time and one I can watch over and over and never tire of.

The acting is suberb… Gregory Peck’s best role. Brock Peters is wonderful as Tom Robinson. And even the children are great. Not stilted or over dramatic as can sometimes happen with child actors.

This movie should always be in the top 10 as far as I’m concerned.
