Gregory Peck plays Atticus Finch, one of the most virtuous heros of literature and the screen of all time. The movie moved me as a kid to want to make a difference in my life whether I was going to be popular or not. It stirred up a sense of mercy and justice, both God-like qualitites. This movie does what the art form should do: teaches, inspires, entertains; moves you to become a better person, make a positive difference, leave a legacy.
