I was shocked and appalled that in ten years; “The Ten Commandments” never made the AFI 100 lists.
This is a true American movie classic. How many movies are only broadcasted once a year? The only one, which comes to mind is, “It’s a Wonderful Life” and that’s because the networks beat the hell out of it.
Myself and my family and friends wait ever Easter to sit back and enjoy, “Who’s your Messiah now Moses? I love that line!
This is our all time favorite biblical movie. We have it all, Cecil B. DeMille narrating and also the director. (On of Hollywood’s best and most famous directors.) The great parting of the Red Sea, the elaborate sets and costumes, and my favorite, Charleston Heston and Yul Brynner with no shirts!
All kidding aside I can not stress enough that this is an American classic and deserves to be in the same categories as “Ben Hur” and “Titanic”
Why not bump “Toy Story”, or “Lawrence of Arabia” and movie in “The Ten Commandments” were it deserves to be! A top 100 American Film!!!!
