This is a beautiful film, with strong story and characters, and sweeping cinematography. Story caputures personal conflict within context of one of world’s most significant historical periods.
I don’t understand why it didn’t make the Top 100.

I totally agree. My Mom and I were both shocked when Doctor Zhivago did not make the list. We figured it was in the top 10 when we reached that point and it still hadn’t been shown. This is an epic movie and not only deserved to be on the list but high on the list.
