The reason I am considering this one of the greatest films of all time is because you have an epic of what defines good vs. evil with a modern and futuristic spin to tell it. And if it wasn’t for Star Wars, which I would have to say is the most ground-breaking film of the 20th Century, there would be no Matrix, no Lord Of The Rings, etc…. This movie brought special effects to the big screen and after this Hollywood never looked back and it was an instant classic, with ground-breaking visuals of things we never thought we’d even dream of seeing, great characters, great story, and just a great epic, defenitely the greatest epic of our time, and the greatest of all time on the big screen.
