I can’t understand why “Harvey” is not on any of these lists. It’s so whimsical and funny, even after all of these years. And, that little seed of doubt that a big puca bunny might really exist leaves the viewer either believing or not believing. Jimmie Stewart is at his best, and the names of the characters: Elwood Dowd, Vita Louise, Myrtle Mae, Judge Gaffney, Dr. Chumley! It’s just all pure whimsy.
