I think the ending was weak. The setup leading to the ending was great — full of mystery and eeriness as the crew make their way up river. But in the end, it falls apart with the ramblings of Marlon Brando going off on tangent after tangent. When Willard finally cuts Kurtz’s head off, I was cathartic ally pleased because he stut him up!
