Exciting and heartbreaking, an excellent portrait of the greatest generation and the comraderie of the small unit that still exists today in America’s military. Not only the best war movie ever, the best movie ever.

So rife with errors as to be unbelievable.
Rangers DEBATING the value of a mission with their Captain?
A MEDIC charging a machine gun nest while the clerk / typist watches the equipment?
A Ranger (Vin Diesel), 2 or 3 days in Normandy following the invasion, ignores a direct order from his officer and helps civilians out of a bombed-out building despite the obvious trap laid out by a sniper?
Ludicrous. The errors diminish the most intense 30 minutes (the first 30) ever committed to the cinema.
